I feel like today was a roller coaster of emotions! I dropped my oldest off at HS orientation, and she got a little teary because she is starting at a new school, and doesn't really know anyone, she ended up being okay though. Left work to take my middle daughter to her 8th grade orientation, she seems settled, and then after work today went to find out who my son will have for fifth grade this year. The good news is he is in the same class as our neighbor, and between her and her husband, and me and my husband we were able to work out a way we can drop off and pick up and not have to pay for after school care!

My mom had her surgery, they put in a stent, and after the surgery she had a pulse, however, about an hour later she did not. I just called ICU even that it is 1am there they will answer and updat all night which is great. She still didn't have a pulse, and they started her on a different blood thinner. She was in a lot of pain, so they gave her some pain medication and she was resting when I called. There is no definitive plan yet. The vascular surgeon will be back in the morning, and they will make a decision based on whether or not they find a pulse.

Thank you so much to all of you in here for the messages on this thread, and the private and visitor messages I received, it truly means a lot to log in and be surrounded by love, prayers and support.

Work is still going really well. I have a big training tomorrow, the first one I am completely responsible for, and everything was ready this afternoon, so hopefully that goes off without a hitch. I also was finally able to officially move into my office, the pre had been construction going on at the district office so we combined two buildings into one. Today I left to go to a training a few if my teachers were giving and when I came back my secretaries surprised me with my office set up, and my name on the door. So although there are some big clouds over me right now, there are also many, many things to be grateful for.

My mom's health this past year has been deteriorating, and as awful as it has been to see it makes me feel more vigilant about being healthy.
