Gilly- today I donated blood. Then had a counseling session. Then ran a meeting. Then helped 2 'newies' by making one a coffee (and biscuits) at the meeting..and buying another a coffee (a planned- more appropriate venue) to offer support. Not much else planned- except food, but who knows- perhaps space aliens for outer space who are aliens might want to have a coffee as well.

You probanly make better Anzacs than us Aussies now.
Lulu, i think your time is here lovely. Work sounds really supportive. I guess they have to be firm but i have a good feeling about this.
Been a ******* of a week here , theyve had to stop Angies chemo as her peripheral neuropathy has got worse. She has lost feeling in her fingers and other areas. Its too dangerous to proceed. They are looking at starting her straight into radiotherapy on Monday. She had the tattooing done today. So every day for 7 weeks now.
I rang the vet this arvo to check what time i have to take Miss Piggy in to get desexed. They told me i nbeed to ring the adoption program , i did and guess what ?
They have booted me out of the program because i am NOT a responsible dog owner ....ME .
The lover of dogs and all things furry.
Apparently, someone reported a facebook post of a picture i had of her running to me on the beach.
Omg...im still in shock.
The sign on the beach stated the hours you can run unleadhed but apparantly it dosnt apply to greyhounds.
I was so upset. I profusely appologised and said it wouldnt happen again as i honestly had never heard that was a law !
She wasnt having any of it.
I was made to feel like a 6 year old and she stated its people like me who give the program a bad name. She really got the boots in.Im bloody livid.
Too many lazy arsed people sitting on their computers with nothing else to do but make other people miserable.
Ok im off my soapbox now , i shouldnt have got all worked up now im angry again...... no counting sheep for me tonight ...grrrrrr

Some meetings just do not gel. Nothing wrong- but sometimes the shares are to me uninspiring. Respectful, listen, aware- support - but sometimes just not to me helpful. I am in one of those moods - if a wise, wise, sober old timer offers 'Master' type wisdom- I would probably laugh if they stepped in dog **** while they were talking.

Pj ive never been able to gel at meetings.funnily enough, it has crossed my mind just recently to try again. Just thinking i need a tool atm. Not that im thinking of drinking but a lot of things happening that once tipped me over the edge.
I hope i dont step in dog shittt if i go to that meeting
