Sobriety could bring anything and I hope it brings love. A house full of happy well people, that's what I'd like.

Learning to "check in"
I'm guessing that if I want friends here then I have to commit to them as much as I expect them to commit to me, and that means checking in everyday to ask God for the strength I need to get me through another day sober, and when I can posting in to the Gratitude threads when I feel I want to be less private about it (I pray to God in gratitude every night before bed).
Still not sure how this site will help me over and above my f2f meetings but something keeps drawing me back.

Seska- you are so right, I believe. I go to meetings more for the commitment of my recovery sometimes, I think- always get something out of it. So doing stuff- even if it seems as if it is seeing to be doing- it all helps in the recovery bank account 9which is a daily account).
