Hi gang. Checking in. Plugging along. Nothing new or exciting going on and I'm sort having post surgical blues, I think. Feeling well enough to want to get on with normalcy, but some persistent issues that still need to resolve. Those issues keep me rather housebound, if you get my drift. Sigh...

Nice to hear from you, V!

Leigh, how are you feeling?

Briar, you trulybjump right into your interests...I admire your ambition and drive!

Hello Dee, Conquest, Arbor, and Mark.

Feels almost like fall here yesterday and today!

Hi'ya, guys. Rainy start to the week. I'll take it for this time of year.

Really into making my own infused water lately. In particular cucumber and fresh mint. Quite satisfying I must say. I can't wait to try other recipes.

Nice to see you Phoebe. The cool weather is fall like. Let's enjoy it.

Infused water sounds good. I might have to try ginger-peach. I've got overripe peaches here, and we cannot eat them fast enough. My MIL sent them as a get well gift/wish. There are nectarines too. Maybe I'll cut up the rest and freeze chunks for smoothies or water!

Dark, damp day here. That's fine. I don't go out much these days...good day to catch up on some tidying, and to sip tea, maybe start one of the books my friend sent to me.

Heavily overcast here too phoebe, and a steady sprinkle for most of the last two days. More like January/February except for the temp. Never seen an August like this. Yard looks great though.

That fancy water sounds kinda good. I'd have to figure out a version with club soda in it. I go through that stuff like crazy.

I've got a book yet to be read called The Greatest Generation. I'll be away later this week and weekend. May actually try 'unplugging' a bit and read a real book.

Happy Tuesday folks.

Yes, I definitely catch your drift, Phoebe . Oh man!!!!

Glad that you are feeling better for the most part. Everything should normalize with time, I should think.

I am feeling better, thank heavens, as we are out of town for a family wedding.

I'm sorry I was absent, again....I know.

Tomorrow I have a good few hours to myself, and I will read and catch up.

Have you read "All The Light We Cannot See". I just finished it and absolutely loved it. So very, very well written.

I know....I could only get in if I went to Explorer first, and even then I got logged out so many times. Well, you know. Nice to be here for sure.
