Thanks Dee- mine for at least 6 and possibly up to 12 months- my digs. Moved some more stuff in just then with the Recovery boss. The new unit is a lease under my name. There was a lady in the unit- taking photos for 'before' handing over keys tomorrow shots. A different peoples lease the new space. She was there as I was shuttling. When I got back with a load of stuff- she had left. With everything unlocked. Allowed to be childish and moan here.

Just finished up running the Monday meeting. A regular girl talked to me before for a while and it seems the girl running the Friday meeting has gone off the radar. So I am no longer acting, but officially doing by default. She warned me this girl is up to manipulating, emotional guilt stuff and anger. I said - it is a fear thing and I was not really phased.
More broken stories shared in the meeting. A young mum- who has just been d/c from hospital after another detox. No partner. Another young lady who is drinking cider vinegar- rationalising the magazines say it is good for her health. A guy in his late 30;s who after a wonderful family filled moments day- thanks to his newly found sobriety- went home and celebrated by drinking. My share reflected the changes in me. Originally it was a dramatic horror filled share- going into all the guts of my downfall, because that was where I was at. Today for the newies, I summarised all of that in 3 sentences. The arm and glove speak volumes anyway. I focussed more on how being around recovering people is a good thing to do.This week is the peak of winter temp's being low- so attendances were down.
