Here for 24 more. 
yesterday started out with an omen. I was running on the trail and stumbled on the largest rattle snake I ever have seen! It didn't bite me. It was easily 6ft. long! That evening I drove a friend to a psychiatry hospital. She called me crying and said she didn't feel safe and felt suicidal. I'm glad she called me. She is getting help and is safe. Thank you God for her safety and mine on the trail and another sober day.

My brother in laws cooked an amazing dinner and then set up an ice cream bar for dessert the kids and adults all loved it. My husband is one of 8 kids, so I have many in laws, and these are two of my three favorite. We used to drink lots of wine together, and they always made sure to stock the fridge with my favorite, today they had it stocked with Cole zero, ginger ale, and Pelligrino. They still had wine, but they made sure to have my favorite drinks, and also told me yet again how proud they are of me, and I'm inspiring them to start making some different choices.
It has been a great day.
