Oh well, Neoo. Live and learn.
A staffie at my recovery program has just come back from a holiday- including..yes-Donegal. She loved all the coves and rocky outcrops at the ocean's meet. Was not too connected to the pebbly beaches tho.

Looking forward to spending today getting more things accomplished around here. I have more energy and more motivation and LESS depression at nearly 3 weeks ( Day 20. I sure hope this trend continues :-)

Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today and strength to all of us pledging to one more day of sobriety. Thank you SR for being here for us.

Great job Pebbles! I must say, your term "squishy hugs" made me smile. First smile of the day so thank you for that!

Good morning,

I am in for 24 more hours of happiness, please. . Packing my gear for a work conference in California--so looking forward to a change in routine, great seafood, cooler weather, and being next to the ocean. I think this trip will inspire me in a lot of ways. Planning on lots of food and exercise, and of course I will have my cell so you all are coming with me!

Have a wonderful day or night.

Love

Red

that'll learn me

Much Prayer to you and your husband Kris

special thoughts to you too SFL - I can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with food addiction. Maybe there's a group out there that can help you with that specific issue?

Hugs to you too Bandi, Jo and anyone else being pestered by a pesky AV

Hope you feel better soon too Leigh

congrats to all who are celebrating milestones today and all who have recommitted to their recovery today

D
Thank you D. I will figure this out soon enough. I've got a new book and workbook coming. Going to have to do some digging in my soul. Part of me is looking forward to the work and the other part wants to run away.

I went to OA years ago but because I am not overweight I felt like I was not taken seriously. I also had an awful sponsor. So it left a bad taste in my mouth. Once I find a new therapist I will work on the food issues. They are no different than the booze issues really. Gotta figure out what void I am trying to fill.

Lots of love to you my friend. Thank you for everything you do.

Good morning friends and happy weekend. Just finishing up a long workout in hope that it will reset all of the damage I have done. Not sure what we have planned for the day but I do know for sure that I will not drink or binge eat today. I am too old for this type of abuse. I want nothing more than to love myself. I deserve that- we all do.

I think most of us have a "set" weight. When you're back up and going again, it will begin to stabilize. More WELL Wishes for you, Erfra.

This is your day, Ck. It is hard when a partner continues to drink. Glad you are setting some boundaries. You can do this and you will! Take heart. We're all with you!
