hi all,

congrats, rocks wow, 3 years!

cried a lot today. heard a student being treated badly by a co-teacher. She's really horrible to them. She speaks badly about other teachers and the administration which gets old after a while but to hear our kiddos treated that way was a little much.

And, I'll try to say this ... correctly ... the av sure did want to make those feelings go away ... not just those feelings, but the wave of feelings I've had lately about a lot of things. I guess I just haven't wanted to feel things! But I realized today ... not so bad just to "sit with them". Not to fix them, or escape them ...

I just let it be.

And that, my friends, is the end of my sad story lol

Mariah, Free, Obo, Up, Tops, Dee, I sure am thankful for each of you

❤️

That's a great practice, Izzy....to "just sit with those feelings". It's never as bad as the AV tells us it will be. There's nothing wrong with feeling sad, or anxious, or angry, we can just sit with it and notice what's happening.

Eckhart Tolle suggests this is a great way to develop our consciousness, and I've certainly found that to be the case for me.

That's a great achievement, Izzy

A busy day ahead I think, I should have planned it better. But the weekend is in sight, yay!

Have a great day everyone.

Izzy, could you possibly send an anonymous letter to the school board about this teacher?

Have a good day everyone.
In for the bargain.

Up- I have wondered how to handle it. People seem afraid of her, even the principal .

.

Hopefully she'll become a famous bully on a new website with anonymous videos called "Texas Teachers Gone Wild "

....before the school board gives her some walkin' papers

There must be procedures for this kind of thing Izzy.
I'm not sure I could stay quiet.

Awesome Rocks!!!!!! Most inspirational thing I've read in ages.
Really happy for you.

Izzy be careful rocking the boat in the staff room is all I can say...... I hope you get on top of it all.

Sorry guys, but I must be honest, I fell down yesterday after a fight with my wife. JD cans again, the AV taking me all the way to the bottle shop. Then I drove to a mates house......

I'm having troubles.........

Hope you are all well and good.

I'll be lurking around!

Is there a whistle blowing policy in the US?
I would definitely let your supervisor know any concerns. The whole school's reputation and integrity could be compromised if it's found that she has acted outside of her standards of practice and no one did anything.

It's a difficult situation, but you shouldn't be the person to hold the burden, Izzy, you have a manager/supervisor that's paid to sort out this kind of thing. (Imho)

I hope the situation improves quickly.

I'm sorry you keep going for the same solution Obo, but I did too.

I worked pretty hard at finding reasons to drink - finding reasons not to drink was even harder work but it saved my soul and my ass...y'know?

Don't take what you have for granted, mate.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time, Obo. I'm glad you're still here.

yes, it's a sticky situation and one I prob shouldn't have even mentioned here but I so appreciate the comments. I do enjoy that job otherwise, mainly bc of the kids. gotta love em.

in for the weekend!

Mariah, you OK?

This would be a great day to show that AV that it has no power over you Izzy. Finish the day sober, and tomorrow you'll feel like you've leapt forward on your journey - these blah days are ones that make the most difference..
