A response to Croissant's post in the last part:
When I see good people suffering, I often feel (and express) indignation. Not at all anger or frustration at my suffering friend, but anger and frustration at the thing that's causing them pain.

Hi, Bob.
We've had nice weather today, The skies were perfectly sunny--but then it turned into a monsoon.
Unfortunately, I was on a quest from supermarket to supermarket to find one particular grilling spice.
The first two stores didn't carry it, so I was forced to schlep through the downpour to a third.
Not only did I find that spice, but I finally found the last two ingredients I needed to make authentically Australian ANZAC biscuits!
Before my roommate and I had to use honey and regular old American granulated sugar. Now, however, I have managed to obtain Lyle's Golden Syrup and real, superfine caster sugar!
I felt like I won the lottery!
And the crowning touch: when I walked out of the store, the rain had stopped and the sun was shining bright again!
