Hope you feel better today. Day ones always suck, but its a brand new start! Keep stacking those days up!

Thanks Stubbs, I do feel a little better today - have a very good 8 hour sleep, been to see my counsellor this morning and also completed a 6 mile run. Just sat down to catch up with everyone on SR.

I understand completely. The past couple days I've been feeling wiped out, but I know that good things are coming! Also need to lose some weight, as soon as these huge carb cravings settle down. I'm trying to not let it get too out of hand, but kind of riding the craving waves for now. Let's hang in there and keep heading in the right direction.

Hi everyone...just making my daily commitment to be sober. I'm planning to spend a lot more time getting to know you all over the weekend. Haven't set aside much time to catch up on the forums.

Hello all July 17 classmates.

On day 6 today. The dreaded (hopefully last) first weekend is here but I've done it plenty of times before. Looking forward to a clear-headed Sunday and Monday morning. Good luck to anyone else on their first week. As they say, first is the worst.

Just finishing up day 2 and off to bed. Feeling pretty good tosay, day 3 is when I normall feel a lot better and start looking better so then my booze brain kicks in and says " go celebrate with a drink!", and it's a spiral untIL I can no longer stand myself and go for another day 1 from hell. I'm determined not to do that tomorrow. Going to be on here, I also have 3 friends and my husband to call in any weak moments. Also, I'm planning on doing my running and workout in the late afternoon early evening time which is normally my witching hour.

Day 3 - its a gorgeous day so I'm planning on being outside for most of the day. Gardening, running, reading, sunbathing - of course I will remain sober X
