Comgrats to today's Milestoners! I am very honored to be amongst such an amazing group. An extra congratulations to Bandi, my sober twin, and to Jeni who started on this journey around the same time as me, it took us a while, but we finally got this right.

I would like another 24 hours of being unplugged from the drinking matrix please.
Honestly never knew it was possible to feel this happy, this peaceful and this free. Today I want to get a megaphone and march up and down the streets shouting, "Stop drinking everyone! Give it a go. Stop drinking for a while and see how you feel. Sobriety is amazing!"
I'm not going to do that because
a) my children will be so embarrassed they'll never talk to me again;
b) the men in white coats will definitely turn up;
c) other people's drinking is none of my business; and
d) I don't have a megaphone.
Then I realised I don't need a megaphone. I just need to carry on being sober and happy. That's a much better way of spreading the word.

Morning all! Another lovely Saturday morning of freedom! I do love it! It's like a little reward! Although I'm off in to work for a couple of hours which is a bit of a pain. It quite an important piece of work and I don't normally go in at weekends so I'm just gonna get on with it!
