Nathan is okay. I didn't cry at the jail.
Busy night last night with family.
Have graduation party today. Going to try and get Nathan's car from impound.

Day 30. That's a nice-looking number. (Still not a month, Bobbie, so don't even try it.)
Work this afternoon/evening. Now I'm totally regretting my choice to trade last night's shift for today, especially since the birthday party was cut so short. Oh well.
Might go do some thrift shopping/flea marketing in a bit. City is probably a little muddy since the rain poured down last night. My home town which is 115 miles away was absolutely pounded by the same storm. Hope all those I know there are OK.
Applekat, I too had very vivid dreams last night. Not drinking ones either. Thank goodness. Congrats on wrapping up one week today! And you're not gonna relapse today because you're going to avoid that first drink no matter what. You can do this! Stick close, post often.
BBG, maybe it's time to try something different--AA/other recovery meetings/counseling/therapy/etc.. Glad you're back with us, hope you'll give us a chance to help you next time before you take that first drink.

Happy weekend everyone 
Today was pleasantly smooth at work ~ Well imagine this.....helpers are sometimes helpful after all! It's been a good exercise for my neuroplasticity.....instead of just going in my auto-pilot comfort zone....lesson for the day: I can't let crappy people from my past dictate my present and future!

Hey everyone! Checking in...just realized I didn't this morning. Hmmm
Goat yoga was awesome!! There were so many! And they weren't shy! Let's just say that I will be shopping for a new yoga mat very soon. Lol.

I have been battling a headache since getting home (I think the sun might be the culprit) and it is so annoying. Might just call it a night early. Well off to make a tea.

Nope no joke. Lol. Glad I did it but probably wouldn't again. Yoga is a pretty powerful part of my healing and recovery.....and I didn't get a whole lot of yoga in today (which was the point im sure)

Sam- does this unusual form of yoga work- because as you said there were lots of goatlings- they get excited and do pellet dumps? Which smell. They might even dump on someone, or the someone might find themselves saluting the sun whilst anchored to mother earth through the medium of dump. THIS will require a lot of mindful concentration of not thinking, smelling, feeling dump. You have my admiration.

Just saw a local animal shelter had kitten yoga today!! Now that would have been neat although very distracting with all the cuteness meowing around!
