Today has been rough. Not in a "I gotta have a drink" kind of way - hot weather has the opposite effect on me. But in a "man, life really does suck sometimes" kinda way.

I have no explanation for why I've been feeling this way, maybe it's the heat making me headachey and short tempered and a little resentful. Maybe it's women's troubles. Maybe it's the fact I've lost a filling and my tooth broke and I can't afford dental treatment for at least another 3-4 weeks and I'm dentist phobic and haven't had any treatment or checkups in over 4 years. Maybe it's a combination of all of that.

Whatever it is, I'm grateful for sobriety and I'm grateful that I have a loving family and a good standard of living.

Tomorrow is another day. Hopefully this mood will have shifted a little.

I'll pray on it.
