I've had ingredients from several countries sent directly from Canada, which got to me in three days!
Well, the salad was a big, fat failure.
It got all diluted and looked totally unappetizing. Only two people ate it, and they both said that the taste of the tomatoes just didn't quite fit with the other flavors.
It needed more salt and apparently could have used more onions.
I think, too, that the dark color of the tomato pieces was deceptive: I fear it looked like a fruit salad!
Holy cow, what a rude awakening that would have been!
Both people told me that it wasn't up to my previous efforts.
Perhaps the former glory is just one of those moments in time that I'll never recapture!! Alas!
But they sure did praise the mac 'n cheese!
(Thanks loads--I basically opened a box)!
Well, as a professor once told me when I dropped his class on writing short stories, "That's all right, dear. We can't all sing at the Metropolitan Opera, either!"

Leshar, they've told us Wednesday or Friday this week coming to fit the French doors/Windows , fingers crossed.
Not been too good with the old lungs just lately. I'm sure I'll bounce back when the pollen count changes.

Hey gang,
Just wanted to let you all know my wife did well with her first chemo treatment.
They get juiced on steroids along with it. Seems to make a difference with tired and sickness. She has anti nausea meds for home and given before treatments. Oh, I so hope and pray it goes like this for 7 more.
