Tired, cranky and really need a break from the kids. We did a sleep over at my parents house last night (hubby works Saturday until 2 am) and they were up until 10:30 and then awake at 6:30.
Just got home and am getting ready to leave the house, childless for several hours! Just running errands, nothing exciting but man I need this break. Feeling really, really burnt out as a parent to 2 little ones. God help me, this has got to get easier.
No desire to drink or overeat. Just need some space
I am here to ask for 24 more hours of blessed freedom from the chains of alcohol. Never, ever again will I go back to that place.

Another sad night for the UK. My mum and sister are down in London but thankfully miles away from the attack. Is this something we have to accept as being part of normal life now?
