Heavenly Father, thank You for my continued sobriety, maybe pass along my 24 to someone who needs it more than me so that they can start their own journey to sobriety... Thank You.....

Good morning,
It's a lovely, cloudy, humid, quiet Sunday. I think another peaceful 24 hours of sobriety is a great idea. Sundays used to be filled with dread. And sadness. Drinking made everything seem worse. Now Sunday has a better reputation. I've been enjoying it! It's not a greyish recovery day anymore.
I am going to shop, then do a few handyperson chores like hang curtains. Going to get a birdbath. It might keep the mockingbird out of my tomatoes! Hahaha. He'll have his own resort and water source nearby. Oh, and should I get a hummingbird feeder? Those cute little guys are pretty abundant here.

Happy Sunday everyone! The sun is shining today. Yay!! Yesterday was so rainy and gloomy. My granddaughter's recital was a success! She loved it. We had a great time and ended the night with cheese fries and a strawberry shake! (Much better than going home and drinking until I pass out)... Lovin' the sobriety.
I'll gladly take another 24 on this beautiful Sunday morning. Congrats to everyone reaching a milestone, and hugs for anyone struggling.
