24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 245
9:44 in California and checking in for another 24. Another busy day at work, and it will be nonstop through June.
I have an interview on Friday and Monday, both would be great opportunities, but the Monday interview is one I would absolutely love, it would be lots of work, but work I am passionate about. I will keep you all posted.
Hope everyone is doing well!

who could not get those f...g songs outta her head
but she thought right there

it was still worth posting on this thread.
and having no choice but to apply correct alcie thinking- it is 'c'mon get happy'.
And if this is wrong, I deny your facts and choose to replace them with my own.

Please count me ALL in for another 24 hours of beautiful freedom.
Congratulations to the Milestoners!!
Our world was rocked this week so I'll be joining a support group for caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimers. I pray God gives me the strength to be a competent and compassionate caregiver and move forward with my own recovery and self care. One day at a time, one day at a time.
Hugs, peace, strength and love to all....xxxx

My mum had this and I looked after her for years.
Sending you so much love. ♥
Good morning/evening sober friends! Crazy weather last night. Not much sleep for me because of tornado sirens going off ALL NIGHT LONG. Thank God there were no reported tornadoes this morning, although some areas sure look like they might have touched down. Anxiety was through the roof at times, but I am sober and plan to remain that way!!
I'm in for another 24 at the start of Day #4...
Much love to all.

Great job on 4 days.
Good morning beautiful and fantastic people
I want to complain about my life but nothing to complain, better be grateful for what I have.
24 hrs. More for this alcoholic that is living life one moment at the time.
He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass himself; for every man has need to be forgiven.
—Thomas Fuller
We have all seen adventure movies in which the heroes or villains are caught on a bridge that collapses. As they fall to whatever lies below, they are perhaps able to climb to one side or the other. But for the time being, their ability to cross between the two sides is gone.
When we have been hurt by people in our lives, or when we have hurt others, mutual forgiveness is needed in order to rebuild the trust between us. It is very much like rebuilding a bridge - one piece at a time. We take cautious steps at first - testing the safety and strength of our bridge.
When two people have become separated by loss or anger, it is forgiveness that can rebuild the bridge between them. Forgiveness needs time and so does the rebuilding of trust.
Can I begin to rebuild a friendship today?
