Man, we are in recovery.....so many of us have made horrendous mistakes that we wish we could take back. I know he is feeling terrible right now.
I love him and I will always, always be in his corner. I know that you guys feel the same way. He kind of needs some support right now, just as I do.

There are all sorts of rules in this world....not sure who made them.
I made a lot of mistakes as well. We both fell down and we both paid the consequences. I know neither of us meant to hurt each other, and I know both of us are capable of working much harder on our recovery programs.
We need to honour the promise we made to each other many months ago....we need to love and protect each other. And making that choice helps us to be the truly caring and wonderful human beings that we are....we really are....and when we let all of crap life throws at us get in the way and don't look after each other properly, well, bad stuff happens.
Bad stuff happened for both of us. We both know lots of the reasons why...and we get to choose how to move forward.
With love and compassion and a genuine desire to do better.
That's what life is all about in my books.
