Hi,
It was a gorgeous day today, well just a crystal clear weekend actually. 🏡 After our meeting this morning, some of us older folks, who were kids in the 60's, were remembering about how our lungs hurt at the end of Spring/Summer days from breathing in the smog. How we had Smog Days at school even. 😔 I really don't want those days to return, as a Country we've cleaned up, but I wonder now if ALL the people learned how to treat our home ???? Just my thoughts on beautiful Spring Day.
I'm in for the next 24 hours. Always grateful to my HP, AA, and you all here on SR.

It's been a lovely weekend. I'm very happy to know you're settling in, there are SO many sites to see in America. I hope you & your goat 🐐 🤗Get to go exploring . Here's an idea 🤑 Our son gets back on another cruise ship in late August or early September. The Port is in Galveston, Texas, if you're interested. Of course you want to go to Disneyland?? As I've gotten older the waiting in line is bugging me. But, I suck it up and still go ! 🎢🎠

Actually quite proud of myself for yesterday it could have degenerated into chaos. Bf was itching for a nasty argument and I wasn't going to ruin the day either by doing that or by drinking. Although this was a trigger time I wasn't tempted at all. Not for a second. I have hope that i have coping mechanisms beyond the bottle. Praying it is so anyway xxx

9am UK Day 2 for me and I am making a commitment to stay sober for the next 24hours. Have just read through the replies on the newcomer thread I posted yesterday. Thank you all so much for the kindness and love my heart grew reading them and I don't feel as alone now.
