My mom is still in the hospital. She had the biopsy today, and they also sent for a CT scan. Her platelets dropped, and then went back up a little today, the highest they have been so far is 12. We should be able to get some results from the cat scan tomorrow, and the biopsy should be after 48 hours, so hopefully Wednesday. The positive on this whole situation is I am spending lots of time with my mom.
Also, my brother finally went and saw a doctor today, they have given him something to help him deal with the depression/anxiety he has been dealing with. After years of self medicating, and poor choices hopefully this will be what he needs to stay straight. He passed his drug test from last week, which is good, I believe he goes back to court again in mid May.
Through all the stress of the past few days I have not once thought about drinking, and that makes me feel really good about where I am in my recovery. I know I haven't been on here as much lately, but I am still checking in ad reading and posting some each day.
