Good morning, er, afternoon. Spent the night in the emergency room. My husband was in a car wreck on Monday and he had back spasms last night. Can't walk right now, too much pain.

So, I'm hanging out at home, cleaning, nursing, laundry. You'll probably see lots of me today. There - you are warned.

Hubbys phone was going off like crazy this morning so he took the kids downstairs and let me sleep in! I tell ya there is no better gift in the world! It's a good thing I'm well rested because it appears the dreaded man flu is on the horizon 😬 So far my ****** oils are keeping it at bay. Maybe I'll get lucky this time and it won't develop into a full fledge case. Fingers crossed.

I'm off to get some startin fluid!

Thanks, Phoenix. The accident was scary, his truck was flipped upside down. At first he was just sore. Out of nowhere last night he started having a lot of pain. He'll be fine. He's just going to be in a lot of pain for a while. Pretty sure this started my migraine.

I kind of want to shout at the sky "is that all you got?!?" But I don't think that went well for Job, so I'm just sitting here grateful it wasn't worse and grateful I'm sober for my family.

ABR is playing not far from here today & I won't be there. It's okay, tho.....don't want to look like any more of a stalker than I already have! Plus I have to be up early in the morning, and I wouldn't be able to top the last time we went to see them!

I kind of felt that way for a second. Truth is, nothing has happened that can't be taken care of. My son is still alive - so there is hope there. His situation is not ideal, but things could be worse. I really am blessed and it serves me better to focus on that than on the bumps that occur.

Whew! Done with work for today. Heading home to some delicious shepherds pie made by DH (the best kind of dinner) using cauliflower instead of potatoes. Should be interesting. Nothing planned for tonight...probably just a walk with Charlie (as long as it doesn't rain)
