Hi friends! Life is kinda crazy with work and my house torn apart. Work is super busy still (going on two weeks) as we hammer out new processes for a project. I didn't have time to eat lunch on Friday, or Monday. But snuck away for 10 minutes today to grab a bite. Ended up staying an hour late, so very thankful for neighbors who can pitch in when I'm in a bind. The bonus in being so busy is that the day flies by. The downside is I know the stress is catching up with me (as evidenced by a 3 hour nap last Saturday). Hoping that things will wind down a for little bit before the next cycle of reporting.
The first coat of paint is done on my house, and it should be finished tomorrow or Thursday. I LOVE the color. It's a pretty, soft gray. Looks a million times better already than the builder's white walls I've had for 14 years...boy they were trashed.
Anyway, I know I've been scarce. But I've been reading here and there. Off to take a hot shower and try to stave off a migraine that's trying to poke through... grrrr...

Morning!! On my way to work and man does it ever feel like Fall....cold, blustery. Blah. At least it's not raining I guess.
CH - I hope things slow down for you soon. Being busy is good...overloaded is stressful. I also hope your headache has gotten better overnight and not worse.
I don't really know what today has in store. Catching up after a couple days off always takes a few hours. Hoping to be out at a decent time and maybe a stop at the gym on my way home for a short run. We shall see I guess.
Well I am off - already two cups of startin' fluid into the day. Have a great one!!

Up way too early for a day off work. No real plans for the day. I haven't played Zelda in a few days so I'll probably do that. Maybe go to a noon AA meeting. Wish there were any movies playing that I want to see.

Bobbie, I didn't realize you guys were having so much rain. I checked in with my son and he's got a bit of a water issue at his apartment. A less than ideal thing right in the middle of final exams. He's not real happy.

Sam, it kind of feels like fall here, too. At least the sun is poking out, though. Rain and wind are headed our way tomorrow into Friday ... must be the stuff you had, Bobbie. Hope it's not too bad there.

Hi! Not working today. I think my office might be flooded. Should find out tomorrow. Pretty sure our other building is.
Yeah, MITA. Lots of flooding problems. It's affecting travel everywhere. Think I'll stay home.

Done work for today and it feels like I accomplished nothing. Lol. Heading home now for some bacon and eggs, a trip to Walmart and a walk with Charlie. Nice sunny weathe right not but they are calling for cold and rain the rest of the week. Where is Spring?

You guys, I love this picture!
May I suggest that our sober house could be on a farm, so we could adopt homeless animals ~ somewhere near the coast perhaps (I like being near the water, IDK why) ~ and on a big enough property so we can have band practice!?!?

Been super busy and can't wait to sit down for a day and veg out. I had today off but I'm getting my tattoo finished. Lol literally sitting here getting it now. Can't wait to get some pics. Sober and feeling it for sure lol
