And yes yes yes, this is to be expected. There are some tough days for sure. I won't ever lie about that. But it does get better, it really does....my tough days are intertwined with some truly amazing days now...and I know how to cope with the bad bits better every single day.
We learn and we grow and we can face anything. Really.
And we do it together.

9:08 and checking in for another 24. The work week is definitely resting my sanity so far, thank goodness I have a few incredible colleagues to keep me from going off the deep end.
There are only a few weeks left in the school year, which always brings hectic and crazy days. Tomorrow I am meeting up with a few other principals after work to hike away some of the end of year stress.
I have definitely been working long days, but the advantage is I feel good heading into the final stretch. I have about a million professional books I want to read right now, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which to start with!
Hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning all! Well I made it. One week ago I began the week from hell but it's brought me back here and it's got me a week of sobriety so for that I am grateful. The depth of how poorly I've been has truly terrified me at times and I am still slowly recovering physically but it has served to give me acceptance that I can never ever drink again. Period. I am in for another 24. Love to all ❤❤❤

I've got a long and busy day ahead, not looking forward to it. There's a lady who I find really difficult and she's been off on maternity leave for a while but coming in for a meeting today. She makes my blood pressure rise immediately as she's such a drama Queen. I'm praying for serenity around this.
