24 Hour Recovery Connection Part 234
Sending you good vibes and strength my love. ♥
Yesterday I helped my brother dig a trench to lay an electrical line. Of course afterwards we had to go sit in a bar for about three hours. There's a long history of alcoholism in our family and, he knows I've quit drinking. I guess I don't understand in what world he thought this would be an acceptable situation to me. I didn't drink anything but, was sorely tempted. The temptation continued for quite awhile after leaving the bar. Still tempted.
I'm happy to be here and, say I'll take another day of sobriety. Congrats to our milestoners. I hope everyone's day goes smoothly.

I'm sorry you had to endure that.
And I'm proud of you for not drinking....there are days for me right now that are very challenging as well. For different reasons, but that doesn't matter.
Let's get through this Sunday together.
Huge hugs love. ♥
you have a plan for the day? I do this everyday, even tho it does not work out often. Just what I am doing, when and what I will do. Like if a hot day- freeze water the night b4. I have to go to get blood done for doc (like 2morrow0 lots of water- because my veins hate needles, not surprisingly. Stuff like that. That lowers triggers- the HALTS stuff.
Keep posting.

I often don't stick to it, but I try.
I woke up teary and frightened, and very discombobulated, but I am ploughing ahead. Nick is lovely and patient, and always ready to do the next right thing ~ for both of us. We are about to work on the outside garden.
So much love dear PJ. ♥
