Ha ha I actually don't mind them in dishes. I've never just had them as a side like black beans. Immri we have them here as butter beans too. My dad loved them.

There's been a spark of inspiration this evening.....its a long way off and nothing's planned yet, but I may be taking a mini vacay in a couple months.....of course you guys will be coming with me!

we have another long weekend coming up for ANZAC day, it's nice to get a break but it's putting me behind with work/writing etc. Oh well, shouldn't complain about time off!

I was a good veggie eater as a kid, but always hated peas and lima beans. And I used to have to eat them as a side. blech. When I was little I used to tell people I was 1/2 vegetarian (like it was a nationality); I would often eat raw veggies for a meal. LOL.DD did pretty good with her vegan challenge today, though she decided she doesn't like almonds. I completely forgot that she is with her dad tomorrow night through Saturday. I have a feeling he's not going to play along.

Off to finish laundry and watch my Blackhawks try and stay alive in the playoffs. Brutal.

Good night everyone! Hoping for a better nights sleep tonight. Last night I tossed and turned with this cold and then littlest bug was up at 3am.

Casey, I forgot to mention that my husband and I love Fargo! I still have 2 episodes to watch from last season and then I'll start watching this season. We have to wait until kiddos are asleep to watch it, though.

Okay this is going to be a bit of a doom and gloom post but I need to get it out there. I feel bad...like really bad.....and I'm tired of pretending to feel "fine". All day long...every day...I am expected to be "on", I am expected to smile and I am expected to deal with everyone else's problems. Well guess what? I'm exhausted. I feel absolutely invisible in my own life. And my AV is loving this god-awful head space.

Feeling my feelings is great. But what about when you feel nothing?

Anyways....sorry for the rant. On my way to work. Love you guys.

B- when I feel nothing I have to believe in hope. That doing the extra mile, putting in that extra effort when I do not or cannot want to rages through. That the fight is never over. That tomorrow will be a better day. That there is hope.
