Class of March 2016 part 46
Morning. On my way to work. First cuppa startin' fluid already consumed.
Keets - glad things are falling into place for you. Take good care of yourself.
Purplrks - great quote! Have a happy Thursday!
PJ - I hear you on not feeling the love. Things are "okay" but I'm missing the sparkle. Sending you lots of love across the ocean ❤️❤️
Immri - glad you're starting to feel better
CH - a week long vegan challenge...hopefully your daughter really likes vegetables.
Casey - your day off sounded pretty perfect. Also now I want steak.
Hope you both slept well Kiki and BBG
Outonthetiles - thanks for the tip on the pizza. Going to make it very soon
Should be a pretty long day today as my Supervisor called in sick but that's okay....idle hands and all that. Well I'm off. I won't drink today.

Has anyone seen my time machine? My goal is to continue forward while reversing in age - 39 going on 30....like those "Choose your own adventure" books where U can go back and start over for a different outcome.....if U need me I'll be over here in Lala Land
Got you by more than a decade. 30's are overrated. 40 is the new 30. Lol
Hola Marchers! Just checking in! Good news here. I am done with the dentist until next check up. Well, aside from the bills. Prayers for the Marchers having trying times of late.
I'm headed home now to go exercise and then clean up my kitchen I guess. Straighten up the house for a guest tomorrow. I can't be a slob 100% of the time it seems. Just like 95% of the time.

Me again! Going over some homework to get ready for tonight's drum therapy lesson. Part of it is learning to read the music, which is like learning a new language.....I guess I'm better at picking it up by ear. Turns out I'm also like a backseat driver. I can air drum all day to music, then you put me behind an actual kit and I'm like
Must be where the whole practice thing come in.....dammit there's that word again!

SELF-EXAMINATION
. . . we ask God to direct our thinking, especially asking that it be divorced from self-pity, dishonest or self-seeking motives.
— ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 86
When said sincerely, this prayer teaches me to be truly unselfish and humble, for even in doing good deeds I often used to seek approval and glory for myself. By examining my motives in all that I do, I can be of service to God and others, helping them do what they want to do. When I put God in charge of my thinking, much needless worry is eliminated and I believe He guides me throughout the day. When I eliminate thoughts of self-pity, dishonesty and self-centeredness as soon as they enter my mind, I find peace with God, my neighbor and myself
