Hey all!! Just checking in. Home from work and I believe I have thrown in the towel on eating healthy tonight...man, i always start the day with such good intentions.
I stopped on my way home and got some ice cream, chocolate and wine gums. Funny story is that as I was opening the bag of wine gums a minute ago (don't judge me...lol) I dropped one on the floor and Charlie scooped it up. Well I have been hearing all about some sweetener that they are adding things to now that can kill a dog within half an hour of ingesting it and I panicked. So I checked the ingredients and it actually said on the bag in big, bold letters - DOES NOT CONTAIN WINE. Lol. I wonder if anyone has ever actually bought the candy thinking there was wine in them.
Now I am going to watch an episode of Y&R before DH gets home and then contemplate dinner. Happy hump day!!

Kiki - So sorry to hear about your friend. Kudos to you for going back in to apologize; that had to be hard. I hope you can find a way to get to marriage counseling. Relationships are hard and sometimes a third party can help navigate issues, help with communication, all that jazz.
Casey - Nice stash. I recently purged all of my books. Most were from grad school and I haven't touched them in years. Plus, I've gone mostly digital.
Sam - Xylitol is the sweetener that is toxic to dogs. I'd imagine they'd have to ingest more than one gummy for it to make them sick, though.
Upstairs - hope your mouth is feeling better. I have a dentist appointment coming up. My teeth are generally pretty good, but I don't like the flossing lecture, lol.
Bobbie - Hope your day was great!
My mood picked up as the day went on. I didn't sleep well last night. It was cold and rainy today. I really would have rather been under the covers this morning. BUT, I made progress on my reports at work. Should have them wrapped up by the end of the week.

1044 here, Thurs. Another 'round' of attacking paperwork for housing, burns stuff, rent blah. One bit of paper has now been sent to the same govt address 4 times. Kong is now so loud and manic, even staff are taking notice. The across the street multilevel apartment dwellers keep their blinds shut. Have not done that before manic b-viour of Kong 2 days ago.
Lovely day here. Just found a shop advertising their wares- all Japanese imports, nothing over $2.80. Have to go look. What crap I can buy (and won't).
