Day 2 here after a one day relapse after 3 weeks clean. Still hurting. Having private cries. Tomorrow will be better, won't it?

Congratulations Arcsoul, Futureve, BeFree and Erratic on making it through another day!

FixItDad, StartingOver and Funtimefranky - never, never, ever give up. I was at a Piston's game with my grandsons a few years ago and it was going into the last seconds of the game. We were down by two and the boys wanted to leave but, I wouldn't budge. At the last second, we had the ball and the player made a 3 pointer and we won! The grands then realized why I always told them to never give up! Starting over isn't fun, but it's better than being stuck...

I had a very nice Day 4 yesterday. Somehow, beautiful weather is great for my attitude and depression, which seems to be very seasonal.

Since I have today off, I have a list of things I need to accomplish. Part of my recovery plan is making sure I don't have endless hours of free time and today could easily be one of those days. I've been a list maker my entire life (found out it's one way people with ADD can manage their lives better) and just love checking off accomplishments. Journaling every day is also a big help for me.

My biggest accomplishment today will be checking off another sober day.

Does anyone else have a plan? What does your plan look like? There are great resources here and that's where I got my ideas for my plan, which is actually printed out and kept in a folder.

Sending healing thoughts to all my classmates for a sober day!

Good morning, Classmates! I should've been starting Day 7 an hour and a half ago. Instead, I will be starting another Day 2 in a little over an hour. Everyone else who has been progressing nicely are providing me with some great inspiration today though. Thank you all!

My AV was strong tonight and came out of nowhere. For about 30 minutes I was thinking about drinking.

Long story cut short I kept myself busy, ate some food, talked it through with my wife (she can be tough!) and got through it.

Just kept telling myself "nobody wakes up regretting that they DIDN'T have a drink"

Day 22 tomorrow but that was a close call..

Congrats on Day 4 and I like what you said about having a list of things to accomplish each day. Free time is not my friend. I will be incorporating a daily list for sure!!

Just wanted to drop in and say "Hi" from the Class of April 15.

April is a great time of year to quit, as the skies brighten and the temperatures warm. Everything is beginning to bloom. New possibilities exist all around each of you.

It was exactly two years ago today that I had my Day One, after drinking seven days a week for three decades. You folks can do this!

Everyone deserves a second chance at life!

Still with the April class. The process hasn't been painfree, but hey, I'm still here and my head is in a good place . We'll see what tomorrow brings. Good thoughts and calm emotions to all! Blessings
