A quick drive-by 
from the road...
We are out of the house and on the road at last, despite a moving day surprise blizzard, lost movers who showed up four hours late, and a late start this morning due to a pine tree that had fallen across our road in the night (chainsaw was long gone on the moving truck, naturellement) that put us in rush hour Massachusetts traffic. Still jittery.
First night in a hotel for my two nervous back country dogs...sending soothing quiet no barking thoughts their way if you have some to spare.
Too scattered to be coherent! But sending hugs to all of you.

Andy, I truly hope the MRI shows something that is easily treatable. You and your family are in my thoughts.
Londoners survived the blitz, they will survive this. My thoughts are with those affected by the actions of this man. Such lunacy in the name of religion. As is any God wants us to destroy each other in their name.
GHD you would not have been proposed for this responsibility if you were not believed in.

Good morning Overs.
Thank you everyone for the prayers and good wishes for Mrs T. We kept each other awake last night tossing and turning. Obviously it did neither of us any good.
As well as tired I am angry, so angry. Mrs T is intelligent, beautiful, funny and caring. She doesn't have a bad word for anyone, she has cared for the environment, her classes, our children and me. How can someone waste lives? Every life is precious.
Sorry for the rant, I've just got to let it out!

Andy, sending prayers and all the hugs you and your wife need. Anger is normal. We all notice when bad things happen to good people and it seems so unfair. But then we move on to action if appropriate and love and caring of course.

GHD, sounds like a situation where many of us would be nervous. You wouldn't be offered this if they didn't think you could do it so it speaks volumes about your abilities and work ethic.
