One Year & Over Part 48
Nice song, Zip!
Putting the final touches on a little side project book today, then it's back to my mammoth book project that will hopefully be completed by the end of the summer.
Have a Terrific and/or Tolerable Tuesday, overs!

Early Good morning,
Another day dawning here. Well soon anyway. Doctor appt this morning and then an appt later this afternoon at home. That leaves the rest of the day open for lunch out and a meeting.
Have a Good day doing what makes you happy and sober!

So of course just when I think things are getting better at work I get thrown a curve ball. Apparently I have been making all sorts of accounting mistakes that no one has bothered to tell me about for the past four months, and it's being suggested that I do a different job. I feel......angry and traumatized. I've been killing myself trying to do the job of two people, and now having this happen is just such a blow to my confidence. I don't know what to do now. My other boss thinks that things have been blown out of proportion and I should stick it out and it will get ironed out. But I don't know, I just don't know what I'm doing I guess, I feel kind of sideswiped, and it continues to be so busy at work that I have to keep going, there is no time to stop and think. And of course I just took this more expensive place.
I am trying to stay calm but this sucks. Don't know what to do now.

Oh InPar. Huge hugs love.
I know how upsetting this is, and yes, I can only imagine how this could truly shake your confidence. But there is another way through here I think....can you perhaps suggest that you will take an advanced course in the software package you are using so that you can learn the tricky parts? Because they can be SO tricky. I'd bet no one there knows how to use it....rather than do a different job, you can still do this one brilliantly. With pride.
I am making all kinds of mistakes in my own life, well, I have been, and one of the things I've learned is to say that's OK Suze....if I'm making mistakes it's because I'm really really trying....we don't always get it right the first time, or even the second. But we can learn and grow, and be proud of ourselves.
Here for you love. ♥

I'm sorry, InPar.
As soon as everyone's shock wears off, it is likely to blow over.
"If a ruler's anger rises against you,
Do not leave your post;
Calmness can lay great offenses to rest."
(Ecclesiastes 10:4).

Great video Rusty!
Sorry you got smacked in the head Inpar. I agree with Gilmer's advice, as things usually will blow over after a bit. Suze is right on suggesting a course of study about your software system. Things are challenging to learn on the fly, and it sounds like you do that all of the time in your line of work.
Have a good day all!
