Good job badge!! And have a great awesome time Carlos!!

In other news, apparently the police were about to go on a missing persons search for me yesterday.
True story.

Apparently, when one has a phone, one should respond in a timely fashion.
Ooops.
More malarkey.

I vote Insanity Survivors, seeing as how I avoided the police yesterday and was sane and sober. Did show up at a meeting just to find everyone leaving. I am the Master of Malarkey.

Never a dull frikken moment in my little bubble.

I opened the box, tried on the shoes, and they fit for a change!

So I went walking to the other side of the neighborhood along the bike path. Compared to the icy temperatures of the past week, it was criminally beautiful and warm once again.

I'm really glad I got off my lazy butt!

I will not drink or use today.

I am thinking awfully hard on it though.
Yes it sure is nice to know some people care.
And it hurts to know the ones I think should care, don't.

What do I know though? Keep on keeping on... The HP sauce gives me all I need right, just gotta keep doing the work..
Struggling...

(((Del)))

Drinking would ultimately make things much worse and set you back 1000 years.

Stay the course!

I'm online from my office.

Congratulations again tom & badger & every day for each of us!

Sad sight -- I say a young fellow today who almost certainly had fetal alcohol syndrome. So so sad

I'm sober Yay!

Thanks Gilmer, and you're right.
Still here, maybe not going strong but, just had a sit down with my (new) sponsor for 2 hours.

And my house is on its way to clean.
So, not drinking today.

Why is everyone having connectivity problems today?

I had to buy a new modem/router. I hope that solves it.

Problem solved! I'm pretty lost without a connection, so I was quite worried. To my relief and surprise, my internet service provider was really helpful and best of all, the help they offered did the trick!

I'm grateful for that, plus I didn't lose my favorite coffee cup. Which I almost did.

Today I stayed sober and solved problems. Coincidence?

xxxxxxxooooooo

More good stuff....you be on a roll, girl!

Thanks for the well wished. The race was intense, but, as a team we finished and had a blast. I am pretty sore and bruised up right now - it's bedtime.

I fell down and got back up many times - even today...and I didn't drink!

Good Morning, All....

Learning to live in normie;s world....

We finished the race yesterday and after spending 3 plus hours in a blazing sun (not a cloud to be found) and we were promised 3 things if we completed the course by the starter.
1. A completion medal - check
2. A SavageRace tee shirt - check
3. A free beer - only one

Three others on our team. One guy gets his beer and from what I gather, enjoyed it. The woman says she's not a beer person and the other guy says he doesn't like beer. The guy who had the beer drove there and asked somebody else to drive.

If I had been actively drinking I would have wanted all unused beer coupons. And, if I drank just one, would have never asked someone else to drive.

I like living in a world that alcohol has little to no presence. It suites me just fine. In fact, my attitude at surface - alcoholism layers aside, was that I have no DESIRE to have a beer.

The same non alcohol attitude was carried to our dinner at Carabas. We all just had water with lemon...not ever the mention of an alcoholic beverage. Not in their reward system for completing the day's challenges.

Haha, I may have liked the way they conducted themselves - but, understand it...no way.

Gilmer Girl...kudos for busting out those new kicks with a purpose.

Deli...it's pretty obvious that you care about yourself and care about building a sober life. The way I see it - that's the most important person in that equation. That's the person doing the work and making those promises happen. You rock!

All is peachy in my world...our leader has her coffee cup and access and I have no desire to drink or use today.
