What a fabulous list! Yay, milestoners!!
You guys are awesome!

Today is Pi Day, so trying to channel my inner nerd and think of some interesting number facts.
But instead I'm sitting here thinking of the other kind oh pie-

Actually, I want to go back to work tomorrow and I'm wondering how to do that. Patience is a virtue I don't have a lot of- It hasn't yet been a week since the surgery and I'm already getting antsy.
The injured arm always hurts a lot when I wake up- it's stiff and swollen. But you know what? Waking up with a painful arm is still a helluvalot better than waking up with a hangover. Seriously.

24 more hours please.

Happy Pi day!

History of Pi

By measuring circular objects, it has always turned out that a circle is a little more than 3 times its width around. In the Old Testament of the Bible (1 Kings 7:23), a circular pool is referred to as being 30 cubits around, and 10 cubits across. The mathematician Archimedes used polygons with many sides to approximate circles and determined that Pi was approximately 22/7. The symbol (Greek letter “π”) was first used in 1706 by William Jones. A ‘p’ was chosen for ‘perimeter’ of circles, and the use of π became popular after it was adopted by the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler in 1737. In recent years, Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits past its decimal. Only 39 digits past the decimal are needed to accurately calculate the spherical volume of our entire universe, but because of Pi’s infinite & patternless nature, it’s a fun challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits.

Good morning beautiful people.
Tired of rain. :/

Thought for the Day

Can I get well? If I mean: "Can I ever drink normally again?" the answer is no. But if I mean, "Can I stay sober?" the answer is definitely yes. I can get well by turning my drink problem over to a Power greater than myself, that Divine Principle in the universe which we call God, and by asking that Power each morning to give me the strength to stay sober for the next twenty-four hours. I know from the experience of thousands of people that if I honestly want to get well, I can get well. Am I faithfully following the A.A. program?

Meditation for the Day

Persevere in all that God's guidance moves you to do. The persistent carrying out of what seems right and good will bring you to that place where you would be. If you look back over God's guidance, you will see that His leading has been very gradual and that only as you have carried out His wishes, as far as you can understand them, has God been able to give you more clear and definite leading. You are led by God's touch on a quickened, responsive mind.

Prayer for the Day

I pray that I may persevere in doing what seems right. I pray that I may carry out all of God's leading, as far as I can understand it.

Need my 24 please I'm a crazy alcoholic.
