We had a nice party for my Dad. Alcohol -free with delicious food. He is in a lot of pain but we made him much happier. I need to help more.
2 more days then off for 4. Grateful to be sober without an urge to drink. Hard going, lately--I need all my strength.
Went to see doctor and I am down 5 pounds already. Starting to feel authentic. Pushing myself to walk as much as I can. Need to get better.. Looking forward to good health and lots of options.

Late check in.
Surgery went well. I stayed at my dad's house last night. I am now back home. I am in some pain, mostly when I walk. When I am sitting, lying in or on the bed, or even driving, I am fine. I am very grateful to modern day meds and ice packs!

7:37 in California and checking in for another 24. I have been feeling under the weather this week, but late this afternoon felt like I might be making a turn for the better. Only two more days and and I am off for spring break. I officially registered my daughter for high school today, it is still crazy for me to think about the fact that I will have a high schooler.

Was @ second opinion doc today & gave me cortisone injection(which always hurt even when don't look size of needle ughh) but asked him if another surgery will be needed coz I'm tired of being in pain i.e. six yrs & counting Said will treat me in slow steps so he will monitor me! Another thing had to turn over & let go coz my emotional sobriety is priceless today
