24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 220
Grateful for a day after a big storm that came and went without us losing power. Pretty easy to be in a warm house and wait it out, especially in a total electric house.
Please allow me another 24 hours of sobriety.
Tomorrow will be day 90 and the salesman has been suggesting a "celebration", not going there....thanks anyway.

Hello everyone,
Maggpie here (: I put my hand in the middle on the massive sandwich of hands to keep my mitts off of any kind of ethanol, and more importantly, keep it outta my mouth and digestive system.
I'm gonna walk by it one more time in the store and laugh my happy azz over to the soda aisle (: have a Mountain Dew (hope I aint getting addicted to the Dew of the Mountain)lol
Have a nice day folks, look at the clouds
Deuces,
Maggpie

Checking in for 24 hours. Had an unusually serene dharma session. I say unusual as I normally get quite fidgety after about 45 mins (as I am tired and its getting late). However, I felt very calm, patient and content even though the session went way over time. A very pleasant feeling I must say The gift of sobriety...it just keeps giving
Congrats to the super milestoners ! And thanks to Suze for maintaining the list. Amazing persistence ! We're on this journey together, it is tough, it is painful but it is so rewarding !
I was watching a documentary on Steve Aoki, a DJ. He was a heavy drinker but gave up the drink after his friend died of an overdose. His mantra is "starve the ego, feed the soul". I like that
Another 24 hours of joyous effort, compassion and sobriety pls ! Its 8:21am here !
