My son moved out yesterday and the house feels very empty this morning. He's invited me round after work tonight to see what it looks like now he's made it all homely. Looking forward to that!

Good morning,

I am in such a fog, but it's Day 9. I guess I am ok with it; one day I will wake up and it will be Day 125 or something, and I will say: "where did the time go?"

This second week is much better, even though I am dragging. I wish I would pick up and fix things, but I can't. Just holding things steady. Going to that crazy office and not drinking is enough! The more patient I am, the faster I will be able to make big changes. This is enough of a change for now--remembering how to live sober. I have long periods of sobriety in my past. Just need to reconnect to that. Going to meditate on it, if that makes sense.

Have a great Tuesday and congratulations to Trees and all the milestoners today.
