6:22 in California and checking in for another 24. It has been raining hard all day in Southern California, definitely going to stay out of drought conditions with our recent weather.
The week has gotten off to a good start here, and spring break is only 14 school days away, not that I'm counting.

Well this past week has been just so difficult, and I'm feeling really down. I'm drawing on all the support I can to keep me going. I'm off for a gastroscopy this afternoon and praying they don't find anything to worry about.

Yep, it's time to check in again for the next 24. I'm very grateful that I don't feel the need to drown my feelings in bottles of wine anymore. We are still in limbo land re: our moving or not moving. Just have to continue to be patient....

THANKS VC! I just went and got that palm. Emphasise here- there plants are urban weeds to most. I find them growing in cracks and abandoned public laneways- just struggling for life (how dramatic). All the containers I use are recycled. Besides- they are green.
