I am in the middle of my holidays. I REALLY cannot wait for the renovations,,,, but I MUST... I have spent a LOT of time with my 12 YO daughter this holiday ... it has been interesting ... like I am looking at /talking to my 12YO self at times. It has nice not to go away this holiday ... we have kinda gone shopping instead ... I have aggravated my shoulder a little bit ... but I am keeping up my exercise routine .... I am working hard to speaking my mind (when appropriate) I need to work how to deliver my thoughts (usually directed at hubby)... at least I am telling him how I feel most of the time .... that is a HUGE improvement ... I hope the renovations are a temporary fix for us ...not a fix for our relationship .... but I hope they will allow the family to function successfully for a few years to come .... I am not 100% sure BUT it is worth the attempt... take care all.

Hello darling L.

I'm sure the house is going to be gorgeous when you've finished.
And I hope you're shoulder isn't too sore.
And I really hope it cools down there so you can enjoy the last bit of your holidays.

Goodnight love.

And love to all of the Overs. ♡

RZ, lol!

Suze, so sorry you still aren't feeling well.

Mags, yes, steroids are both a blessing and a curse all rolled into one. When my immune system is low (all of the time now) I feel frustrated that so many don't think about how walking around sick can impact others.

Andy, wow - cheeky cat!

Toots, backed around a corner? Anyone who watched that has my deepest sympathy

Maddie is settling in beautifully. It's starting to feel like she has been here for years. Of all the cats that have owned me, she is one of the sweetest yet also has lots of spunk. It turns out that she is nearly 10 years old, not seven (I had suspected that might be the case). She has a few health issues that the vet and I think are fixable. All in all a happy circumstance. My depression has lightened considerably.

So glad you're sounding better Sassy.
Venuscat sorry you're not well, sending healing thoughts your way.
ARZ, explain the ham thing please!
And I wish i could have seen that cat steal the ham......my brother's cat is like that, a total pig! He'll eat anything if you don't watch him all the time! But we love him, tough little Mickey. My dog is terrified of him haha.

Sorry you are not feeling well Suze! Healing vibes are being sent your way!

Toots, backing up with a trailer is very difficult. You have to turn the wheel in the opposite direction of how you really want to go. It's a challenge to wrap your mind around it!

Andy, a whole ham? That's being piggy!

Saskia, I am glad Maddie is settling in and lifting your spirits. It can be a tough slog on the East Coast during this time of year with day after day of gray skies.

Have a great day all!

Hello Everyone!

Good Morning, Dee!
Looking good, FBL! Thanks for the Laffs.
Hugs and Prayers for all of you sick or struggling.
Reminds me of when the Bear stole our split pea soup off the porch. Didn't say a thing though.
Eye is healing up well. Back is down for the count. Still feeling grateful.
Wishing all of you a better day than the day before.

THANK YOU for explaining the ham comment.

And thank you all for for being so kind.

So so happy Maddie has adopted her new mum with glee. Not that I'm surprised Sass. Just so glad for you.
As Nick says a lot, cats fix everything.

I vow to catch up properly here today.
