Good morning, we have been having lot of rain here lately, and this cake reminds me of the beauty the rain brings.
It also made me think of the beauty recovery brings to each of us, so slice off a piece, and Milestoners, make sure you get a slice with a few extra flowers.

9:28 in Las Vegas and I am checking in for another 24. Just got off the phone with my kids, and they are all doing well at Grandma's. My middle kiddo had an audition last night and was called back for three parts, one is a lead, so she is excited, lots of kids doing this show, so cuts will be tough, theater is a great way to learn about disappointments in life, and bouncing back and putting your best into your current role/situation.
I am resting in the room right now, we are going to meet up with my brother and sister in law around noon, to do a little gambling. Nick and I are going to see Menopause at 4:00 today, it looks hysterical, and he is good guy so agreed to get dragged to this one, and then we will be eating dinner at one of Mario Batalli's restaurants called CarneVino. 14 months ago I would have been excited about the vino, now I am looking forward to the Carne.
I'm having a great time away with my hubby, and think the fact that I am sober makes the weekend even better. We walked a ton yesterday, over 10 miles on my Apple Watch, and I am sore today! I will probably not be wearing the same boots I had on yesterday.
