No, it is not. I have had to inject myself in the past. You need to call 911 after administering the epi pen, and you will definitely feel pretty shaky because it causes your adrenaline to raise, but it helps keep your throats from closing, and tongue swelling.

I am sorry you had that happen yesterday, it takes a few days for your body to feel back to normal.

I think my toothache might be subsiding. This is surely a miracle as I haven't needed either antibiotics or the dreaded root canal treatment! I'm feeling truly grateful to my guardian angel right now!

If i can offer you any advice-Do NOT ignore any toothache. That's how my drama started..Severe toothache where I needed a root canal, and the infection spread instantly throughout the right side of my face (mm's away from entering brain tissue apparently)They think it's been laying dormant for a year or so,,,,Very serious-prescribed morphine for pain as I was literally screaming- then when I thought that was all done with-another tooth which needed extracted started playing up and I've now had another infection for the past week(on the opposite side of my face) Thankfully the pain was not a fraction on last time but I have been soooo unwell this time round with temps above 40 every day... It's been through my sinuses and they have tried to hospitalize me a few times now!! I have had 5 courses of antibiotics in a month and i feel they have only just got it right. We don't seem to take our teeth as seriously as any other health issue that we may have but this has literally scared the SH** out of me... The doctor explained that i'm very lucky I didn't end up with infections in my brain or septicemia which can be fatal.

Not trying to scare you honey.. but i had no idea that a dental abscess could be so serious...And i know this reads like a lecture too but unless i had been through this I would never have taken any notice.

Take care and maybe get your tooth looked at anyway just incase?
