When are the services for your friend, gleefan? How are you doing with your thoughts about him? Drinkers leave a lot of bad feelings in their wake when they die. I try to remember, there but for grace go I.
Just because I didn't drink today, I'm at least one day less likely to die of something non-alcohol related. Not the prettiest of thoughts, but true.

I haven't commiserated about your friend, Glee, because I'm really ambivalent. I'm really angry at the outrageous slap in the face to his family at his funeral--but at the same time I dare not judge him because I spent a lot of my life punishing my family with my self-proclaimed martyrdom, too.

Not planning to drink today.

Baby eagle still growing like a weed. His/her adult feathers are almost all in and he has been "wingersizing" (that's the word the camera minders came up with) - first flight in about 30ish days apparently.
Now I've been asking everyone in the area here if they know where there is an eagle nest. So far, no go.

bim, isn't there another eagle cam that comes up later in the year? I seem to remember a buzz about one on the 24 Hour thread years ago, but it wasn't Florida.
Per usual, I'm late. My solution to my reluctance to get out of bed in the winter is to stay in bed. Starting now, I'm going to have a good day and not touch drugs or a drop of liquor!

hey ya'll, no drinking for me today. Question for the masses, has anyone heard of a program called Basefit? It is a program to "optimize human performance and total health. My bosses are offering it, it follows your sleep patterns, requires daily exercise, nutritional input also. I am 90% sure I am going to join, just wondering if any of you have heard of it, if so what were your thoughts.

Thank you Gilmer!!!! Sounds good Badge! That sure was a mouthful courage! No matter what anybody says, I'm not going to drink/use today! Badge, we sure wouldn't try anything like that when we were drinking!
