Sim, check this one out please, you might be in it.... Snow geese mass early at Middle Creek this winter | PennLive.com
And congrats on 93 days, time is going quick.
Camery, I hope you enjoyed the training. I used to do Project Management and Business Analysis for Merchant Services and really enjoyed it. Good luck.

Hi Dee, PJ and tootiesdad.
Finally home! Thank you Jesus! Tummy's full, I'm showered and cozied up in my jammies. Besides sore feet from standing for 12 hours....I'm feeling pretty good. Counseling went well tonight. I was less guarded than I normally am....guess that helps
Elke- That's the place! No Sim sightings on the video Gotta say that it is much better in person but you get the idea.

Happy Friday All! As suspected I didn't get a whole lot accomplished today however, I did get a few chores done. The weather is B-E-A-UTIFUL here! Not sure the exact temp but it's gotta be in the low-mid 70's. I'm in shorts and a t-shirt, got every window and door in the house open getting rid of all of the old stale air, and took in a 4 mile walk/run! Oh how I've missed being active in the great outdoors!
Attending to death & taxes yet again. Filing taxes tonight and a funeral tomorrow. Not particularly looking forward to either one but it is what it is.
Been practicing my crocheting for the past week.....moving on to my next lesson momentarily
Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Hi Elke, Dee, Phoenix, Sim, all, Hope y'all have a wonderful Saturday.
I've got a bar crawl that my wife and I are going to tonight for a couple of hours. Not looking forward to it, I think moreso because of the company that's going to be there Should be fine, though @Simplicity I totally get where you were coming from last week re: the concert...

What a lovely smiley PJ, it made me smile, thank you.
My Saturday was quite good tootiesdad, the weather was very wet, non stop heavy drizzle so I did some more painting. I'm off next week, yep, to do more painting. One fine day it will all be done and we can move in, fingers crossed.
Hey Sim, I'm so pleased for you that you're out running again. Shorts and t-shirt, oh I'm envious I hope your day wasn't too bad.
A big hello to everyone else reading, have a good and sober Sunday.
Tootiesdad, good luck with the bar crawl....

The evening went pretty well, thank you for asking! My wife and I only stuck around for two hours and then we headed off to have a nice dinner together. Drank plenty of H20. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but I'm glad to be home
Morning Mayflies! Well we're 12 hours into a power outage and on generator. Very bad storm here yesterday afternoon with tornado warnings. I've never seen the sky that color or ever seen it rain so hard. We actually hit the basement with the doggies and cat. A couple miles down the road barns we're leveled, roofs were ripped off homes and silos, and trees are down everywhere (no reports of injury). All that considered I will take the power outage without complaint. 7000 in our county without power as of last night so I'm assuming we won't be back on the grid for awhile. Thank God we have a generator....
The funeral I attended was touching. I didn't really know the deceased, I was more or less there to support a friend, but it was such a "real" service that I felt I got a glimpse of who they were in life. People shared good stories of the deceased, bad stories that revealed some serious character flaws, and stories that revealed a heart of charity and kindness. There were tears, laughter, and expressions of gratitude. Usually when attending a funeral you only hear about the good qualities of the deceased--I found the raw honesty of the sharing to be so moving, I wept. It was a celebration of the whole person just as they were; good, bad, ugly, and beautiful.
Not much on tap for today. Though we're on generator the whole house isn't wired into it.....so no vacuuming, no wash, just the necessities like internet and tv-lol! Think the hubs wired in distraction/entertainment for me so I wouldn't drive him nuts! Woodstoves are cranking out some serious heat which is good since the tides have changed and we went from the 70's to the 30's overnight.
Elke-running was awesome....my thighs are reminding me that I haven't done this in a clip. Lots of hills in our area....so I prolly pushed too hard. Feeling the burn!
Toot-Glad you sobriety intact!
PJ-How's it go friend?
Dee-Hi!

Dee-Hi!
Happy Sunday everyone!
The bitter cold is back here in the frozen tundra, going from 70 to 19 degrees is a bit of a shock. ( yeah, just a bit)
Sounds like you are all doing well. Scary weather and all!
I will check in later and catch up this afternoon. Was just sayin' "hi" and I am still kicking!

Hello everyone... that's quite a temperature drop, I hope you're back on the grid soon Sim.
My painting went well yesterday and today I was treated to a lovely Sunday dinner with good friends. Yummy and no alcohol in sight.
Good night from wet and windy Wales X
