One Year & Over Part 46
Good morning Overs.
Kris and Mags I hope you're feeling better.
Itchy I'm glad you are enjoying your toys again. I wonder what the cleaner would have put in the water fountain ?
Toots have a good trip home. I'm glad you solve the bad smell puzzle and the solution is easy.
Have a good one everyone.

Good morning, Overs!
Mags, "pannekoek" is Dutch for pancake :-). So sorry you are having to take prednisolone - not fun at all.
Toots, I agree with Suze - you are a whirlwind. Enjoy!
Itchy, good luck with the specialist appointment today. I hope they can fix the problem.
IP, I get bloody noses all winter if I don't use a humidifier.
Kris, feel better!

Hi to all :-)
The handful of times I've been down south, I always eat at Waffle House. We don't have any here up north, but they are all over south of the Mason-Dixon line. I even saw an exit in Georgia that had one on each side of the freeway! They even have their own records in the jukebox. Here's an example:
Now I'm hungry
Have a Magnificent Monday, overs!

Waffle House is small, like a 50s diner, and it's got windows all around. They have a variety of great breakfast items, as well as terrific lunch items, like good old-fashioned grilled burgers. They also pride themselves on their chili and multi-topping hash browns. Plus it's all really cheap!
The first Waffle House I ever ate at was in the summer of '87 in Marietta, GA. I had steak and eggs.
We also have a nationwide chain here called International House of Pancakes (IHOP). That food is mediocre, especially the pancakes!

One of my favourite scenes in a movie is in Coffee and Cigarettes when my two HWDKI (Husbands Who Don't Know It) Tom Waits and Iggy Pop sit in a diner and discuss the coffee at IHOP. "It's a classy brew."
If love healed me I'd be fully recovered from all the outpouring of love from you all! TY! Love does heal all, just not sure about the flu.
Good luck with the specialist, Itchy!
Toots, safe travels.
Had steak and eggs too the first trip to the Waffle house.
Wishing a very good day to all mentioned and not!
Feel better Mags.

Just got the bad news that a friend of over 30 years was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. He's pretty much shut down and probably doesn't have long to live. He's only 61 years-old. A sad day for sure.
Not a good day here, not at all.
But one thing I am learning over and over is that being in a relationship based on love and trust means that we can figure anything out together. And we always do.
Love and good morning dearest Mags.
And love to all of the Overs. ♥
