24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 200
It's 6:04 a.m. and I'll take another 24 please! I've been slow and down this week... can it be seasonal affective disorder?? These dark, gloomy, rainy days have been depressing. I need the sun to shine!!
Hope everyone has a safe and sober Thursday! Love to all.

Good morning everyone! I'm in for another day of sobriety.
Some good reading here this morning. I'm another one who needs to learn to let go of the past and, live more in the here and now. Easier said than done. Maybe the key is balance. Maybe learning to let go is. I don't know but, im determined to figure it out.
Congrats to today's celebrants and, all who are sober today!

"I am going to succeed because I am crazy enough to think I can."
6:05am in Alberta. I'm sure it's going to be a darn good day not to drink!
I'll have another 24 please and thanks..
Checking in for 24 hours. The last 24 hours have been largely serene and happy. I gave my niece a generous birthday gift which was a tad exy. However, seeing her happiness made it all worthwhile.
Congrats to all the beaut milestoners ! For those who are 'fresh', my advice is to just focus on the next moment in our day. Be present and feel what you are feeling. Scan your body and focus on any bad feelings. Dont run away or fight it. There is no right or wrong. It simply is. Eventually, it will melt away. Be kind and patient with yourself.
Delilah - you had the smarts with the dogs. Well done ! Vets charge like wounded bulls here as well. We had to buy dog health insurance in the end !
Another 24 hours of serenity, compassion and sobriety pls ! Its 8:05am here !
