Hi, everyone. Just a quick Hello and Good Morning before I get out of bed and start my daily routine...coffee, feed cats, make breakfast, pack a lunch, etc. Hope you all have a great day!
Love you, Class♡ CR

The husband started his new job Monday and he's loving it which definitely makes for a happier home! He told me last night that he has to go out of state to training for a week next month which means I'll be alone...for a whole week. I am starting to work on a plan to keep myself sober while he's away. Maybe the gym every day after work? That's all I've got so far...

Anyone have suggestions? That will be a dangerously tricky week for me...

Stay close to SR..build up a support network...if AA (or any other meeting based methods) might be a possibility for you hit a few meetings.

Vary your routines...if the evenings are hard for you make some plans to do stuff.

You know your triggers better than any of us do...start drawing up a battle plan now...you can outthink, outplan and outdistance your addiction

Me, I would probably hit the gym if I could, plan some great movies or a series I'd been meaning to watch, get lots of junk food in, make arrangements with friends to go for coffee/cinema, read a lot, check local events to see if anything took my fancy, spend a night pampering myself, make an appointment to get my hair cut/massage, look at some online courses I'm interested in - things like that. I spend most nights by myself so I find distraction is key for me.

Just click on 'USER CP, SUBSCRIBED THREADS' then you have every thread you posted in right there at your fingertips. I never use APPS for forums, even when using my smartphone. I also always switch to 'FULL SITE' mode. I never use the MOBILE SITE mode on any forum as it usually sucks!

Well done on four weeks enfin!

BBB I love The Man in the High Castle, where are you up to? I'm about episode 6 of the second series atm, wondering how it's going to end this time. One of the books I've always intended to get round to reading so plan to get on with that this year too.

Good day today. Marks my day 30 and tomorrow is one month! My house is now spotless after days of cleaning and clearing out bags full of junk I haven't looked at or used in years. You know, like the tens of leads I've kept, haven't got a clue what they're for but been recluctant to throw out in case I need them My youngest had a field day shredding old paperwork which was hilarious that made her so happy.

I dunno, I just feel lighter today. It's a good feeling.

I'm up to season 1, episode 8 or 9 i think.I'm enjoying it. Its a cool concept and there are some great characters (notably Obergruppenfuhrer Smith and Inspector Kido. I'm not that big on Juliana at all though, not sure if its just the character or the actress, but she literally has 1 facial expression in the 9 hours of the show I've watched so far! How's season 2 compare with the first?

Evening all ... found the use CP bit....is there anyway to go to that straight away or do u have to log on, find it, then skip to the last post in the thread??? I loved the app, so simple, all posts there in right place ready to comment on! Been using it since I 1st joined in 2014!
This just feels all clunky and wrong. .. but I guess what u know is comforting in the recovery sense and change just makes me angsty and irritated ..... urgh....
Everything seems a bit **** really now. .. I'm so tired and worn out. .. booooo
Never mind keep on!
Glad everyone else seems so happy x

Sorry for any annoyance enfin...apparently the app was insecure and bought up a few security issues - hence the new log in and no app...

Hope you feel a little better tonight

Hello

Day 56 (almost) done, 8 calendar weeks!
Four more days before my real 2 months "cake"...I'm almost there!

I went to read our beginning days in December.
When we arrived here with only a few hours done...

Not many people made it till today but I'm happy to see I'm not alone.
Grateful to these December Class friends who are still here, in particular BringingBackB, Quitter, Rayjay, ChloeRose, Enfin, Capricallia, MeSoSober, Pebbles, rockyMTNrider and Munchkin.
You guys helped me to be a better man by being sober.

Thanks
your koala friend

Good Morning! Feeling a bit tired today. The cold weather is back and I can't remember when the sun was out of the clouds. Sure could use some for lifting my spirits!

Woke up with a headache and my first thought, before even opening my eyes, was oh crap...what happened last night??!! That freak out moment was followed by a rush of relief as I realized it was just a headache not a hangover. I didn't drink and I don't want to drink and that moment of panic reminded me why.

Happy Friday all, I'm off to another fun filled day at work! Hope you all have an amazing day!!
