Also hoping Baby Bug starts to feel better Bug.

Leshar my love....I worry that the chocolate causes mood swings. I know too much of it does that to me. It's going to be OK love: you are doing really well. Sorry that the audition was weird, yes, next time.

Crois ~ I also think you know what's right for you. You have a very good head on your shoulders. I normally take things slowly....and in a way I have this time as well. Nick and I talked for 5 months every day for many hours before I met him, and then we were together for 6 and a half weeks. In some ways this might sound like we are moving fast, but well, we have been waiting for each other our whole lives. We are sure.

Did I just contradict myself? Hmmm. I think I need more coffee.

Haha, well, in seeing what you wrote to Leshar, Venus - I ate a LOT of chocolate yesterday, but feel better today....maybe my mood was from choc, haha.

The reality is, I haven't been in a relationship a long time, AND my natural little instinct is to run when things are amazing. I know this from past experience. I find big emotions sometimes hard to deal with. Aspergers. It doesn't mean anything is wrong, I just have to pace myself and give myself permission that this is ok.

Hi guys , it's 9 days since I've had a drink

I've lost 2 and a half kilos. I've eaten clean for a whole week and NO chocolate whatsoever , which is amazing for me. Lots of water, but I allow myself 1 iced coffee a day so I don't get a headache.

I have a stinking cold at the moment , we have had a breakout of influenza A at work , I hope that's not what I've picked up as I would hate to pass it on to Mum & Dad as I had a sore throat whilst we were waiting for Mum in hospital the other night!

Isn't it Weird how we go through cycles at opposite times. !!!

Don't stress yourself out over a bit of choccie indulgence gals. It puts too much pressure on yourselves. If you're going to eat it, at least enjoy it x.

Hiya Dee, Gilmer, ,Wolfyyyy,Lulu,Bob, Pj, Ladybug, & everyoneeeeeeee

Yes, it's weird, and also kind of miraculous. We somehow manage to be in the exact right place to help each other...always.

I love you Snooz. I'm so proud of you. And so glad you are my friend.
The last few days were tough....Nick and I had a very big and painful challenge.
We got through. Just like all of us will continue to do. ♥

Congrats on day 9 Suze

I know you have a lot going on, but have you thought anymore on how you'll stay sober this time?

Yes Dee, I saw my psych this morning ( hope I didn't give her my germs)

Nice session and discussed lots of options to keep me on track . Working with my doc, who wants me to stay on this medication, which I will.

I've still not heard from the detox place , so glad I stopped drinking 9 days ago ugh .

Next week I see the councillor , I'm feeling strong, determined and have
My plan in place.

Loved reading how well you are going, Snooz. That's awesome.

9 days is just wonderful! Starting my day very happy because of seeing your post!

Suze, glad you got through your challenge. maintaining communication through challenges is hard enough in any relationship, let alone when you are physically separated.

EDIT: I just read on Weatherzone that the storm has been cancelled, really!
Actually, what they said is that the severe weather warnings have been cancelled.

Everything in the news, including the weather, is usually over-exaggerated. Then when the really devastating storms come through, the warnings are either non-existent, or too late. Basically, "a massive stormfront coming" invokes fear. Our whole society is based on feeding the fears of humans. Fear of disease, fear of looking foolish, fear of being too fat, too thin, not good enough, not having the latest whiz bang thing.

Fear.

Just my thoughts.

I totally agree Crois . The media fills us with fear. I grew up catholic with the fear of god put into us at school.
I'll often go into a patients room and they are sad or depressed . I'll ask what's wrong and they say I always feel sad after reading the daily paper.

I say " don't get it anymore " it's full of gloom and doom & never anything good. Don't watch the nightly news, turn it over to a game show etc.

One lady who has been in there for 3 months said she doesn't read it anymore and honestly, she's visibly a happier person.

She has her brekky then after that's goes for a walk around the hospital instead, or does a jigsaw puzzle.

The news is only going to get worse, so why torture ourselves.

We can't personally fix anything our governments **** up or terrorists do.....so just be....

I rarely watch the news anymore.

Everything is sensationalised.

I'll stay on my side of the world and just be...

Xxxx

Wehav , how are you theses days lovely one xxx.

Snoozy, I like your style. I am definitely finding my newspaper reading less and less though we get one delivered daily and two on Sunday. I minimize TV news. I also feel I need to stay on top of some major news themes. Balance that will relax, laugh, spray. Happily sober
