Thank you Dee -

Still tucked in bed here, nursing my cold that moved into bronchitis. I so hope today is the turning point!

Hi Odelle, thinking about you as you navigate traffic & return to work.
Hi Nic, best wishes with your uni studies! Are you pursuing a degree?
Hi Delilah -
Hi Thump -

Wishing everyone a peaceful Sober day.....xxxx

Hope you feel better soon Bandi! I had bronchitis last year and it's truly awful.
Yes I'm a couple of years into a psych degree( oh the irony I know!!)
Luckily it's a 6 year full time degree in order to work as a Registered Psych so plenty of time to get myself in order lol!!! I've just been chipping away part time and long before this addiction really took hold-

Just woken to day 3. Yucky insomnia - managed to fall asleep but I've been awake since 3am

It will be worth it right xx

Thanks honey & good job on Day 4 today!
Lol, thanks for the smile (about your psych degree). On the bright side, should you choose to go into addiction counseling, you do have life experience to back up your degree -. Take care.... xxxx

I'm really excited this morning. I'm finally getting forward motion from the VA regarding a decision about my needed hip-replacement, and I have a consultation this afternoon. They've been telling me for four years that I'm too young for such an operation, but with a new primary-care doctor, this is the first indication that they may change that.

Wish me luck!

Thanks for checking in Delilah. Last night was pretty awful but hopefully the prescribed new meds including an inhaler will help. I thought my post drinking healthy immune system would swiftly kick any illness to the curb, but the doc thought I was moving from bronchitis into pneumonia.

Nic honey, you ok?

Hi sorry a quick check in. Huge family barbecue today with extended family. I stuck to water and had the best time of my life. Seriously never thought I would say that I could have a great time sober but I did. I also managed to stick to my diet as my mum had kindly put out chopped veggies for me to munch on instead of the usual chips and dips etc.. what a darling. ;-)
Still not sleeping but I'm actually feeling quite pumped that I got through today!! It's 1:30 AM set time for me to try and sleep again. Thanks for checking in on me honey. Will catch up with all of you tomorrow XXX

Bandi, I'm sorry you are still feeling lousy, I hope the new meds help get rid of the bronchitis, and that it doesn't go into pneumonia.
