Morning everyone.
Feeling a bit sad and reflective today. It's been lovely to see my family over Christmas but they have so many deep issues with addiction, and as I was clear-headed I could see everything in all its ugly detail. 2 brothers who put their drinking above their sons, one of whom takes cocaine, and a sister who drank and drove her daughters on Christmas Day. They are such loving wonderful people.
I was part of that, and not so long ago either.
I am happy to be back in my own home where I can control what happens and feel safe.
