24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 187
Today was the celebration of my home group's 42nd year and it was awesome! I got to do a little service work there and enjoyed some great fellowship. I'm so grateful to be in recovery. Not everyone makes it. I used to be resentful of the fact that I'm alcoholic and need recovery, but today I'm grateful to enjoy the recovery life. 24 more hours of sobriety and gratitude!!!
Fantastic, Dane! Keep moving Forward.................................
24 more please, Dear God.

I chose this because the young woman seemed to either be leaving a storm behind her (and closing the umbrella) or walking into a brightness so intense that she had to open an umbrella. Either way, it reminded me of recovery (leaving the storm behind and entering a bright and fulfilling future).
Beautiful, Leigh.
