Thanks guys , that really cheered me up I'm working Xmas eve , Xmas day & Boxing Day. I do love it once I'm there, I was just being a grinch.

How about snags on the Barbie Crois & salad. Gonna be too bloody hot to eat anyhow at 40degrees. You'll smash it whatever you do lovely.

I got my official restraining order through the mail at 4 pm today. My son had to be at the police station at 10 am this morning. There were 6 pages so I stopped reading. I didn't want it to get me down.

Sad for our whole family especially being so close to Xmas. Things will NEVER be the same again sadly.

Oh my God , I've got on the scales this arvo and put on 10bloody kg. I really have to pull my head in and stop this shittt .

Inalways eat too much when I'm sad.

Feeling better though , so I'm going to have to address it after Xmas . I can't pay $68 a head and eat a friggen salad, I'm not a rabbit .

The next day is Shaun's birthday so we will have a nice dinner.

I've gotta get my shite together and get out of my house. I feel as though you m become a recluse. I go nowhere and I do nothing. It's got to stop.

This isn't a boohoo post it's a kicking myself in the arse post lol .

Much love to all of you & thanks for loving me even when I'm grumpy xxxxxx

I have a date for my cardiac catheterization, January 4. If I get a stent put in, they will keep me overnight, otherwise I will go home, well, to a friends for the night, after some hours. They have to make sure there is no untoward bleeding from the cath site.
I will be glad to get it over and done with. I'm walking daily, but at times it's a struggle. I threw out all my frozen prepared dinners, seems a waste but I wouldn't give them to anyone. I can't believe how much cholesterol there is in those things! Guess I never cared enough about what I was consuming, but time for change!
More snow here but it's not too cold and when the sun is shining, it's lovely.
Hope all are well!

Great news, Leshar.

I wondered why you had said your new diet requires more prep. Now I realise If you were eating frozen dinners, that you had no prep before! Now it makes sense.

Fresh fruit and veg is the best! You'll be fine.xx

Thanks, Dee, Croissant.
Yes, Croissant, I'm ashamed to say that I did rely heavily at times on frozen dinners. Now I am eating grilled chicken and fish, with lots of veggies. The food tastes so much better, and looks colourful!

That's beautiful, Leshar. And once you stick to that for a while, and if you cut out sugary treats, eventually you will find you don't crave all the junk anymore, anyway. I'm actually excited for you, because you should feel the benefits soon. I can understand the thought of a stent is offputting, but they are so common now, and so that bodes well that it should be relatively routine. I'd still be scared too. It's natural, of course.xx

Thanks, Croissant.
We love you too Suze. I imagine you've got a lot going on. Is it complicated to apply for visas or whatnot to come to the US? Hope your health is ok.

Hello all,
It's just as well I'm alone tomorrow. I have a cold, and woke up with back pain in the night and now I have the runs. Thankfully, I did my grocery shopping yesterday so I'm stocked up for a few days.
You know, Canada is a multicultural society, Australia too, I imagine, well many western countries, yet how often do we hear anything but Christian themed music, stories, at this time of year? It gets tedious to me. I'd love to hear some world music in the midst of all the traditional stuff. A bit of balance wouldn't go amiss. I mean on the radio, I'm a big radio fan. Or stories of what our new immigrants think of coming here, and how they celebrate, or don't, Christmas.
Oh, don't throw out your cassette tapes, I hear they're making a come back, like vinyl!

Merry Christmas all my beautiful friends.

I'm off to work in a few hours & ive really got into it . Santa cape , flashing earrings and reindeer ears . One of the patients said to me yesterday " enjoy your Xmas day love, I shall be spending it on my own with no visitors!

That sprang me into action, I hope I can make at least one persons day by looking like a goose lol xxx

Enjoy your day my friends, from all over the ocean.

I love you all dearly xxx
