Thanks, Dee. This is perfect.

It's been a tough few weeks for me, and I wish I could say I was up to the task. Anyway, first snowfall of the season here and things look nice and pretty and clean. I'll take that as a positive sign.

Applekat, I have been enjoying your posts very much. I think you should write a book - at least you and LG should hook up and start a blog!

Bobbie, I am my own trigger too. This is what I need to conquer/fix/understand/etc.

Thirteenth, that is an interesting start. I'd encourage you to keep it going - get it all out so to speak. We'd all enjoy reading it, and most likely find it very relatable.

Have a great day everyone!!

MITA-Hang in there. You can do this. Get out of your way.

Applekat - I agree with MITA - you should start a blog.

Samantha - Good morning. It's cold here. I want snow. Am a bit jealous. Have a great day!

Hi MITA, great to see you here. Sometimes just getting here and posting is half the battle. Thanks for the blog idea. I'll get right on that! Hahaha, maybe someday!

I've got two kids on antibiotics and hubby is starting to feel siiiiiick.

Here's to hoping Day 8 feels a little better and calmer than yesterday. Digging deep to exercise patience and love.

ASSIGNMENT if you so choose:

List three accomplishments from today, no matter how small:
1.
2.
3.

I feel so grateful and happy that _______________________.

Something I'm looking forward to is:

PJ - Just jumped on your profile and viewed your album. Great stuff!! My walls are bare in most of our house (we've lived here almost 4 years...).....I could totally see one of yours up there. We have a MAROON kitchen with a giant empty wall. I am envious that you have that creative outlet. I need one!

Give it a go, AK. What talent I do have- only happened 3 months ago. Before that I had not picked up a paint brush since preschool.

1) Did some laundry
2) Balanced my checkbook
3) Executed a nice swap in one of my client portfolios.

I feel so grateful and happy that I have a garage.

I'm looking forward to making our Christmas card!

Bobbie, good luck on the paleo thing. I think it's a great way of eating. Would you mind sharing which template you are using? I'm pretty familiar with most of the paleo book authors and know a couple of them personally.

MITA - I got my shopping list and first two weeks of recipes from Paleo Leap. My daughter and I did a few hours of food prep last night. Breakfast this morning was awesome.

List three accomplishments from today, no matter how small:

1. Sorted out a huge stack of mail, and have 4 buried bills prepped to pay (we do almost everything online, so when one-off paper bills come, they get buried).
2. Did one load of laundry.
3. Returned library books due today (phew!).

I feel so grateful and happy that I still have my husband/best friend by my side after 11.5 years, and three CRAZY kids. I KNOW I got a good one.

Something I'm looking forward to is: receiving our Christmas card in the mail this week from Shutterfly and sending them out!

B - Running, Paleo, no chocolate....you're my hero. (I feel as if I've said these words before... )

MITA - nice accomplishments as well. And ya know, I am darn grateful for our garage. Keeps cars dry/warm, for putting kids in and getting them out. Good one.

Thirteenth I can relate to what you wrote.....drinking friend's parents' alcohol in 7th grade, drinking so fast in high school that I was unaware of the whole "shots" and "chaser" concept. Once at a party I chugged rum straight from the bottle while everyone cheered me on. Sorry, flashback....(Keep writing! )

Sooooo, the concert junkie here found out today that GnR are coming back to the US & doing one Florida show in 2017....So that's good news and bad news, LOL....Anyone want to go to Miami in August??? Probably not a good idea.....sorry for being a bad influence.

ASSIGNMENT (Thanks AK)

List three accomplishments from today, no matter how small:
1. Got my butt kicked at the gym after work
2. Talked myself out of an approaching panic attack this morning
3. Stayed sober another day

I feel so grateful and happy that I: get to be here with you guys!

Something I'm looking forward to is: Finding a way to comfortably be successful in the future without being a backstabbing scumbag!

(I know.....looks like Purps has got some resentment issues....just a little! )

Fabulous accomplishments Purps! Man you people are making me feel guilty about no gym/running in the mix yet. Haha!

I've never been one for concerts. Have a memory of puking in the grass outside the shell at a Phish concert. Mayyyybe not the best idea.

Too quiet!! I will add a few more post-kiddo bedtime accomplishments:

1. Paid for a pair of lularoe leggings
2. Bath
3. Read some of The Shack
4. Ice cream
5. Pushing play on a Gilmore Girls episode.

Then bed. (Aka...a long night of interrupted sleep and inevitable co-sleeping.)

Love to you all!

CH - unloaded AND loaded?! Jealous! That's like two accomplishments. I mean, when I said I did a load of laundry - notice I didn't add that I folded it and put it away. Way too much haha!

Good to see ya friend.
